The Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) is the highest level of pilot licence for professional flight operations. The candidate must hold the required current Instrument Rating and Flight Radio Telephone Operator Licence (FRTOL) for exercising the applicable privileges.
The candidate must have completed at least 1500 hours of qualifying flight experience and meet the prescribed requirements for PIC/PIC under supervision, cross-country, night and instrument flight experience.
The candidate should have a valid Class-I medical fitness certificate issued by DGCA.
